at the sight of you
i feel
the incalculable weight
of a thousand kisses
fall like an avalanche
across my chest
breathing becomes
labored
as every cell
screams
not for oxygen
but the rapture
of your embrace
i am lesser
for your absence
yet infinitely more
for the simple joy
of knowing you
You slip under my lip
with your
fairy tale tongue
And grip my wild ride
You’re the devil
under covers
an ember glow of
rebellion
poised before eternity
and our season shift.
Naked with my sin,
Your thumbprint on my thigh,
lacing patterns on my skin
you and the moonlight
have dressed me in,
the sound of
your whisky voice
has let you in.
EC, is poetry, my heartbeat is the echo of her prose.
