i admire the lack
of concern as she

going seventy down
the congested highway
never bothering
to look away from
the mirror one time
i figure this will
be how i am killed
hit by a white car
as the lobotomized
driver with an
applicator driven
through her eye
and into the hollow
where her brain
should have been
careening off of the
semi veering lane to lane
as he tiredly watches
as people in a hurry
haphazardly cut him off
and me crushed against
the guard rail
my last view of the hawk
circling the ditches
but i am sure that
she will have an
open casket as her
makeup looks phenomenal
