It’s been a year and some change that I have been playing about at trying to be something more than a want to be writer. I don’t know the rules or proper procedures. I just write and occasionally find amazing writers that make me feel as if I am fumbling in the dark. One of those is one I have raved about since I first read her, EC. She is absolutely brilliant and if I were of her caliber I could describe her in a way that befits her talent.
She rightfully got nominated for the Liebster Award. I don’t know what it is but I am sure she deserves it. She mentioned me in her post which is an honor in itself. She was posed questions by someone that was posed questions and so on. She said she would be grateful if they were answered. If you know me, then you know I always do what someone I respect asks. When that person also happens to be an inspiration and muse, well, only a fool would ignore a simple ask.
- What inspires your blog?
Depression and longing. Two feelings that everyone deals with but is taboo to speak of. I let them off the leash because there is stark beauty in absolute darkness.
2. Have you been writing since you were a child? No. As a child I drew until I couldn’t draw the images I saw any longer. As a teen I started writing.
3. What is your favorite blog and why? Impossible to pick. EC writes with teeth and I love every post. Emje posts art and words that amaze. No one writes longing like Tara. And so many more.
4. What are you most passionate about? Passion. In all of it’s forms. Writing. I may not be able to write as well as I want to, but one day I hope to improve enough to match my talented friends.
5. Do you draw inspiration from everyday ordinary occurrences? Yes. I may be too easily inspired if I’m honest. It is why I tend to write five to eight new poems a day. The world is filled with wonder and beauty in the most commonplace things. The scents of flowers, scampering squirrels, the way a cool breeze travels along your skin.
Since EC asked people to answer questions, I suppose I can do the same. Although I don’t know if any of them will answer or not. It’s the thought that counts, right?
There are many others but these were the first to pop into my mind.
I loved your answer to number one and I didn’t expect to 🤷♀️❤️
