of virudescent filth
between my mind
and the feelings
withered on
the decayed vines
strangling this
frenetically
frantic fool
freezing to death
in the shallow end
of an ocean filled
with misbegotten tears

my teeth chatter
an incessant ode to
daydreams crushed
and snorted
on the way to
fetid tomorrows
filled with emotional
icebergs bobbing
in a lunacy of waves
