feng shui

i burnt all of my belongings yet found no peace

i tore up all my writings yet the feeling persisted

meditation, self flagellation, administration, defenestration, a prayer called in desperation

in a last act before ending this farcical facade i stumbled upon feng shui

i reorganized the ashes the scraps of paper yet the feeling only became stronger

it was internal devoid of influence from the external whatsoever

so i did what had to be done

i cut myself open in an effort to reorganize

the kidneys to the east spleen next to gall bladder to air out the spirits of white blood cells and fried foods lungs where the stomach was to allow better flow

what to do with the most foolish of all organs

then i realized it all felt better without it

so i wrapped it in butcher paper threw it in a box and mailed it across the ocean where it could be taken better care of than i ever would

let the ash scatter and the words drift where they will

all it took was reorganizing the organic layout of internal organs to achieve a semblance of peace in trying times

  1. I once lived in an apartment where the feng shui always found us (anyone in the house) hanging out in the bathroom…. I ~shit~ you not (lol). Spent hours in there. Didn’t matter if it was just me or three others. hahaha… we always migrated to the bathroom and like after an hour hanging out in the bathroom I’d be like, damn it! we’re in the bathroom AGAIN!

          1. HAHAHAHA! ohmygod that sounds ridiculous. It’s legal here so I don’t need to hide it or disguise it…. we just always sat in there. I guess it’s a good thing I keep my home clean…
