true diamonds
don’t refract light
it simply passes through
while lab grown stones
act as prisms due
to slight imperfections
in the crystalline
structure being
artificially altered
to mimic nature’s
accidental perfection

probably something
deep buried in that
i just found it to be
utterly fascinating
