loss prevention

so much time spent thinking of what was lost as life keeps moving without you

everyone loses someone special

the nature of entropy in the machine means everyone dies

an accident

sickness

or just worn out parts

it is the reality of this life

anything that lives will one day cease functioning

wrapping yourself in the gauze of crippling sorrow is acceptable

but allowing it to not just flavor but poison everything is ill advised

imagine the person you lost seeing you act this way and think of what they would say

our pain shapes us

the moment we allow it to dictate the terms of our lives is when it has gone on too long

the hurt we feel from loss is self serving

when my father died the world kept spinning along

every suicide and overdose did nothing to prevent this ball of mud from rotating on axis

from revolving around the sun

those precious moments are to be cherished

forever is an intangible we can never comprehend

so instead of putting a weight around your own neck try letting those special times help lift you up

the once in a lifetime experiences are that for a reason

not to be placed on a mantle and stared longingly at but to influence the next great adventure

loss prevention is a goal for retail not life

deep breaths and constant motion can eventually fix anything

remember that

it is okay to be weak

to breakdown

but realize if it is a set back or a new outlook

take appropriate actions to move on

not give up or forget but allow it to help shape the future in a meaningful way

every lesson learned is as important as the next one

just let it go and allow it to teach you

but if you are satisfied to let it tear you down and end your living

well

you do you
