EC got nominated for the Sunny something or other award which is fitting. She asked a few of us to answer the questions and I am incapable of saying no to not only one of the greatest poets I have had the honor of reading but best people I have ever had the pleasure to know. This is not hyperbole, this is simple fact.

1. What started you writing?

I always wanted to be an artist. One day I realized my hands would never sketch the things I saw in my mind. Later, I realized I had a talent to tell stories. My friends always asked me to tell the stories of things we had done together because I had a way with the words. One day I will sketch with words the images I see.

2. Which poem, song, novel, etc. do you wish you had written and why?

I prefer to enjoy the works of others as part of the audience. I would rather write my own words and inspire someone else. That feel lame. Anything by China Mieville is beyond my feeble ability. The Scar is my favorite novel ever.

3. What is your favourite word?

Like picking a favorite child. Discombobulate because it is fun to say maybe.

4.What format (poem, haiku, short story, etc.) do you prefer to write in and why?

Again, near impossible to choose. I like free form because I don’t like being forced into a scheme. But Tanka is fun as well.

5. Tell us all about something that inspired you that one time to write that one thing you are proud of having written. Link us to that thing too, so we can bask in its greatness.

The constant search for her. Dreaming she is out there somewhere looking for me as well

8. Besides writing, what’s your favourite thing in the world to do?

read, love, music

9. Are you an extrovert or an introvert?

both, neither. The test says ENFJ but depression holds a powerful sway.

I don’t know who I would recommend. I’m sure they have a been recommended before but they deserve every chance to be read.
