heavy hands steer the vessels of historical remembrances

the chitinous sun shines hazy mist upon the rabbit warriors draped in vermillion silks as they stride with purpose onto the battlefields

craven hyenas in slick business attire, imperial inquisitors of fraudulent taxes in pin striped remnants lope across the dew covered grass

the candle burns itself into a hiroshima shadow etched into the cinder block nightmare of immoveable objectivity meeting impeccable fashion scents

not born but laid into the carnal pits, hatched from plastic to be strewn along the beaches, floating on piss warm seas, another heartdagger dripping oil

  1. My very favorite line:
“craven hyenas in slick business attire”

I loved that I seriously pictured those nasty creatures in suits and ties, tongues hanging out and all. And realizing… the animal wasn’t much different than the, well, real animals in suits n ties.
