i never figured out
the games
people play
with emotions

i am
a lot of things
most bad
but i never
entered into a conversation
with the express aim
to toy
with someone

i see
a lot of cruelty
in the world
it boggles my mind
why someone
would take
the precious short time
of life
and use it
to tear someone apart
for no other reason
than it makes them
happy
to see another suffer
