in the muddied grays of overcast happenchance above the swirling browns of constant motion
there was a vascular precision to the chaos incarnate around me from every possible vantage
the far bank was slapped rhythmically while our side made a sucking beneath the docks
if i closed my eyes as the deck under my nervous feet swayed along with those heart palpations
the bird hidden in the brown spanish moss warbled a distorted white noise that pierced the ear
the wooden planks with the weathered gray distinguished look of a skull’s jagged smile
the edges of the scenic dreamshit begin to pixelate with faint hints of screen tearing above me
i walk towards the quiet house only for the world around me to flicker as i lean against the railing
a mobius strip of naturehell wraps around my chest like iron bands hammered to a barrel
the moss dances in the wind that grows from whisper to howling banshee trapped in the cypress
long locks of hair sprouting from the talon like branches that claw at the impenetrable liquid brown
i can only close my eyes while gripping the wooden rail feeling my nails drive splinters deep
no scream can escape into this endless misery that takes apart every molecule of beauty
in the muddied grays of overcast happenchance above the swirling browns of constant motion
What a gorgeous and haunting scene you’ve painted. Gorgeous because of your precision in word choices
