her kiss
sunrise
across my parted lips
a culmination
after a lifetime
in the dark
her kiss
sunset
trailing along my cheek
a sad farewell
before stepping
back into night
oh,
for a thousand
noontime kisses
to stave off
the cold
the chill wind
of eternal evening
across
the desolate places
hidden deep
in a person’s soul
oh,
for a million
afternoon kisses
the promise of
writhing bodies
before
a gentle nap
lazy kisses
with flashing tongue
mischeivious eyes
soft secret smiles
if you give
to me
your sunrise
i shall
give you
my noon
we can sleep
through
til the evening
sharing kisses
‘neath
the moon
but do not
kiss me
with your sunset
even as
the night does
loom
for to be
kissed
by your sunset
would surely
spell my
doom
Naps!

there are no secrets at naptime. just pure abandon.
