earth spins
uncaringly
beneath
above
he is uncertain
his bearings
lost somewhere
as he
exited orbit

back there
he left behind
a lifetime of
accumulated woes
out here
there is nothing
but a gradual
rounding of
his heart
and sorrow
as the emptiness
suffocating him
comes from
with out
and within
as he floats
