red tinted
in a chaos of
indiscriminate
wind chimes
i woke from
a subaquatic dream
gasping in
sheer panic as
my heaving chest
pulled in
lungfuls of arid
desert air
sharp gravel in
a dehydration
of formerly
submerged bronchus
flopping on this
too large bed
of russet coral
spasmodically to
the orchestral
clanging outside
in an incompetency
of fevered dream
pale flesh torn
by rows of thorns
in a handwoven net
meant to capture
dreamshards from
the murky silt below
in a red tinted
chaos on one
