i am a
dandelion
growing
amid the roots
of a rose bush
well aware
my shoddy art
is just a
cheap facsimile
of the beauty
i steal
nutrients from
on a daily basis
a puff of dander
easily forgotten
beneath the
spectacle of
natural talent
