i doubt
many of us
enjoy our
reflection
when we
accidentally
catch a glimpse
the hushed
panicked moment
wondering
is that me?

but if we
were to try
to snap a pic
we could never
get the correct
perspective
we witnessed
without
obscuring our
faces and
changing angles.

we forget that
our vantages
have advantages
but prevent us
from ever
truly seeing
the whole scene.

it’s impossible
to ever truly
see ourselves as
we actually are
to the billions of
different perspectives
we come into
contact with
on a daily basis.

the only way
to see
to truly see
is with help of
a stranger’s
point of view
the rest is
just us filling
in the spaces
with assumed
information.

some people
prefer the blind spots
it’s a human
condition.
