masticate the
world’s issues
to pontificate
upon solutions
and to sit
doing nothing
but lamenting
the lack of
action

is a cop out
an unwillingness
to accept
somethings
are out of
your control
or an inability
to affect the
change needed
to transition
to doing
too preoccupied
by what other’s
are occupied with
glaring angrily
as nothing is
accomplished at all
so it is all the
things that
should’ve happened
magically that
failed the day

should
is only applicable
if you could
and if you can
then why aren’t you?

for bitter regret
