desperate new
political ads
screaming about
sex changes for
children and
the woeful state
of incoming
socialist madness
has me avoiding
media of all kinds

this new era
of fantastical lies
is too much to sift
the pretenders on
social media who
constantly stir drama
acting as if they
are anything but
terrible people

i have disentangled
myself from society
because i no longer
understand the game
there is a kind of
comfort in the silence
without the incessant
nagging emotional drain
