your teeth
gnaw
gnash
your tongue
laps
at the fluids
hunger
consumes
you
my heart
is a
waterfall
streaming
pastel colours
in an
ever
slowing
stream
feast
upon my
jagged wound
before
it
turns
to rot
then
you shall know
feast from famine
as my blood
turns to honeyed wine
on your
greedy
little
tongue
as my flesh
like caramel
is stuck
within
your molars
consume
this remnant
of
love
immemorial
forget
me
not
as i
fester
decay
as you
consume
me
i too
infiltrate
you
love
lust
need
all symbiotic
parasites
that root around
in our limbic
systems
my
darling
lover
so encompassing

One thing I love about your poetry is that as I’m reading I expect to read a certain word but you’ll slightly twist it in a new direction where it makes sense but takes me elsewhere. I don’t know how you do it, but it’s always enjoyable.

I’m glad even if I’m not sure what this means.
