head first

she crashed into me head first

time froze as pieces of her passed through me

incorporeal bits of one another, phantasms blending and morphing until the parts that exited were no longer the same as the ones that began

a bleeding over

then suddenly she was imprinted on my every cell

i would never be the same

forever colored with the briefest glimpse of her perfection

she now marred by the swirls of madness inherent in my very core

when time resumed

we snapped back into who we now had become

knowing each other in secret ways that only exist in the darkest regions of being

i floated gently as she sank

i crashed into her head first

now i owe her everything that i have taken

unable to retrieve the broken she received
