every car and truck on the highway today has had a brake light out
a series of random events that seem to be interconnected
it feels as if the universal current is aligned with my own
my ear is out of commission on the same side as all these lights as if the left half of the galaxy has taken the day off
if i dive into the realms of impossible possibility of the one in a billion offerings of finding the mate to my tarnished soul in half broken slumber
it blows my mind
when my fingers trail in the stream of consciousness sending ripples along the surface of tension and wondrous discombobulated aether
i feel you in my chest, running through my mind, bare feet slapping against the marble flooring of the dingy cathedral
make yourself at home in the eerie confines
every left brake light, like the left side of my head, winks out of existence at the same time
it all fades into
you
