good intentions

never have
what
is needed
never get
what
is wanted.

the invisible man
with
the empty account
a
blank slate
no name
no recognition.

if it were not
for
the overwhelming
sense
of loneliness
filling
the hollow
desperation.

i

would be as
devoid of
will
as i am of
talent.

another arm
of
the abyss
gently pulling at
my
shoelaces.

usually

those are taken
from potential
suicide
risks.

the warden just
stopped by
to drop a coil
of rope
labeled

good intentions.

  1. Tell the warden to go f**k himself. That’s what I used to say to the Smoke Man (my warden). He told me every day that death was coming so I might as well get it over with. After a year of it, I listened. But he is a liar. It will get better. I promise. If you need me to tell you that every day, I will. And if I read too much into this I apologize! ♥.
