“Bully – “Feel The Same” (Live at WFUV)”

last year in a very bad place of the world crumbling and reforming and falling apart

bully helped get me through

in an effort to be less a writer of shitty poetry

and more a real person

i’m want to take you with me musically on occasion

this came on in the car this morning and it took me right back to the vulnerable

half scabbed feeling of freshly broken

but today it was more an itchy scar

so progress

as she sings i find myself wrapped in her longing

with my own forming highlights

after images of fireworks as you close your eyes and hear the crackle in the sky above

and

the hurt is an ache

but like her

i feel the same
