sermon of sin

she was a vision in revisionist history, hysterically visionary in the way a vice vanquishes virtue, a shimmering sign of holy power and brought the good book to life

hard the hairy angles swing, glory to this sweet, sweet thing

brothers and blisters, let us bluster and prey upon the deaf, dumb and blind bindings we cast upon the aether, whether or not dispersions of brighter indifference shutters the land

can i get a bowl of ramen

braise the light

now i’ll ask the congregational civil disobedients to rise and lead us into the valley of the shadow of lethe, where all sins are forgotten until a time in which we need to draw from the past to better further ourselves towards the future fights

step on the backs of another to raise yourself oh exalted ones, now excuse me for my goddess calls

as i knelt before her altar and worshipped with all of my might, the slick wet heaven parting before me threatening rain that would last forty days and forty nights

and she sang louder than the church bells in her rapture, the cries echoing from the valley to mountains of delight

this angelic demon from the depths of my mind promises me salivation as she does as was done unto her with a skill and verve to serve and be beholden to

gory glory habanero, mine eyes have been opened to the majesty of the light

and never shall this sheep stray from the herd, for in her healing touch i was awoken to the carnal pleasure of sin, and it was good

she looked down upon me and decried the night and let there be a glorious awakening in this once empty heart, parting the waters above from the waters beneath and letting spray a golden shower of reverence onto the land

for her body is my temple of worship and let no other dare speak evil upon her holy vestibules, let none dare stand before my goddess, for i will strike down upon thee with my most furious vengeance any slight brought before her delicate feet

let us bow our heads and pray

soon i shall return to that delectable feast she has so graciously laid upon my bed and we shall plumb the depths of heaven until one or both of us is not fit to walk again

can i get an amen
