run-on

the ache in his chest throbbed in ever increasing waves of intensity
each breath took more effort than the last he wanted it to stop he did not care if it was the pain or the breathing that stopped as long as one of them ceased being it all played on a constant loop in his mind there would be no peace this day plaster on a grin and make believe you are a normal boy not a broken and discarded toy on and on it goes his emotional breakdown a run on sentence that defied convention
