if i paid for two hours at a meter i most certainly will drift along the sidewalks watching people for the entirety of the time
when i first moved to dallas i was underwhelmed with downtown, another snobby yankee in the deep south
but now as i find my time drawing to a close on this chapter of my life, i am amazed at my love for city itself
sandwiched between the graves of bonnie and clyde, following the trail that kennedy was shot on, into the underground mall
the church’s, the art, the statues and monolithic glass monsters, if it weren’t for the traffic and maze of one ways, it would be perfect
as i take marble floored elevators to the 30th floor and stare down at the landscape, i can’t but feel as if part of my heart shall remain
i’m sorry for my initial first impression, of mocking the little downtown that did, in the end, worm it’s way into my soul
I am headed to Dallas soon for my first visit there.

It is wonderful. The people drive like assholes though. Just a warning.
