not all rivers
make it to the sea
though some
are born of lakes
far inland
from the ever shifting
oceans
step into the shadows
slide out of your clothes
let me run my fingertips
softly along
your tributaries
in search of your
hidden inlet
sip lightly
from your abundant waters
while your thighs
against my ears
bring forth
the call of the sea
in my head
we may never
swim in the ocean
but like so many rivers
we can discover
untamed lands
far from the eyes
of salt water life
Beautiful images. Well crafted.

You know how much I dig your erotic poetry, Mike. This is fucking gold. Feel like I should thank you for writing it. Just gorgeous imagery and carnality. ❤❤❤
