i visualize it
with painstaking care
then
i pour it into words
across the paper
how the blood
beads up
in the initial slice
the affect
heightened blood pressure
has
the gentle arc
of arterial spray

i would never wish

upon someone
but I will
revel
in the Pollack-esque
beauty of it
as it plays out
the pinpoint pupils
as they strive
to seek the why
as i
express the how
in happy little
sentences.
